First and foremost, I am a wife and a mother to 3 wonderfully unique children. They are the reason I do what I do and who I have chose to do life with! Besides spending time with my crew, I LOVE all things DIY, summers by the pool, and talking about horoscopes (what's your sign?)
I am so happy you're here! If we haven't meet YET, lets speed date for a minute:
~ I'm addicted to learning new skills when it comes to hair & wellness that I can implement into my practice and share with you.
~ Scalp health and the well-being of your hair are so important to me because I myself dealt with my own scalp and hair issues that led me to feeling confident about my hair.
~I pride my self on offering a safe space with a warm welcome every time.
I understand deep down how important hair is for us to feel beautiful and confident, and just how vulnerable it can be to share these concerns.
I'm gonna let you in on a little secret, my hair always got worse before it got better. While my whole journey starts with a 13 year old me in Parker, Colorado and Britney Spears (that's right)! Just like any other young teenage girl trying to fit into this world, I had a spontaneous and, what I believed to be, a brilliant idea -I decided to cut my hair to shoulder length, just like Britney Spears in the movie Cross Roads. I was absolutely CONVINCED that I would look exactly like her. How could I not right?! Needless to say, I ended up with my own personal nightmare and despising my new look. But it did spark my new obsession with hair and trying to learn everything I could about hair!
Now, let me let you in on a little secret, I had never truly loved my hair. Over time, it seemed to get worse than better as I struggled with thinning and fine textured hair. I also couldn't seem to help my hair grow, and all of this got worse as I got older and started my family. I found myself always looking to extension or the latest product to be less self conscious and hopefully find some answers.
BUT THEN....
Something amazing happened! The door to scalp health opened up before me. I discovered the key to beautiful thriving hair lies in the health of your scalp. It was a turning point in my hair journey and really helped regain my confidence in loving my natural hair, and it led me to explore the world of Scalp Facials, which is my main focus today.
